OVERVIEW

I am working exclusively alongside a local provincial Insurance Broker who are looking to employ a self-sufficient Accounts Assistant/Cashier/Credit Controller to tender their needs. This individual will ideally have recent experience in the Insurance/ Professional Services sector and will have basic knowledge on the everyday regulations and procedures in these backgrounds.

DAY TO DAY TASKS

• Principally to reconcile insurers accounts and ensure monthly statements from insurers are reconciled in a timely fashion and within the credit terms provided by insurers.
• Ensure funds are received from client in a timely fashion by ensuring that account executives are aware of their o/s client balances to allow them to manage incoming funds from clients.
• Experience in company ‘management accounts’ and delivering accounts & other MI to directors on a monthly basis.
• Liaising with account executives to manage client’s accounts queries on an ongoing basis
• Ordering office consumer goods and paying suppliers.

WHAT IDEALLY I NEED FROM YOU

• Experience with Acturis, Quickbooks & wages software ideally
• Basic understanding of FCA client money regulations and some experience with FCA RMAR returns.
• Recent Insurance/Professional Sector experience
