We are working with a well-established Insurance company and they are recruiting for an experienced Business Partner who will report into the Head of HR. The role will involve acting as a HR Partner to the business and also deputising for the Head of HR ion terms of overseeing and managing the HR team.

The role will be acting as a No2 to the Head of HR and be involved with all aspects of HR for the UK and International offices. Providing support and guidance to the HR Advisor, the role will involve all generalist duties, including assisting with the overall HR strategy and rolling out initiatives.

For this position, candidates will need to have proven exposure dealing with international offices and speaking French would be a distinct advantage. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Providing HR support to around 180 employees, including 25 members based in international offices globally
• Supporting the offices with all aspects of HR Business partnering across 4 main locations
• Assisting the Head of HR with the development and roll out of HR strategy and initiatives across the business
• Involved with all aspects of generalist HR duties including providing support and guidance to managers on ER issues, performance management, recruitment initiatives, talent management and HR best practice
• Mentoring and coaching the HR Advisor and overseeing day to day HR activities
• Development and leading on Training and development across the business, including running in-house training on areas such as leadership, talent management and employee development
• Involved in the growth plans for the business and supporting the HR Director with all aspects of recruitment and support with business growth and expansion.

For this role candidates will ideally be CIPD Qualified and have proven experience at this level. Ideally candidates will have experience in a similar industry - insurance, financial services, banking or similar professional services business.

This is a hands on role, so candidates must be prepared to get involved with all aspects of a busy HR team, whilst also supporting the HR Director and stepping up when required.
