We are working with a leading transport business in North West London and they are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join the team. Reporting into the HR Manager, this role will involve all generalist HR support to the business.

Working as part of a team the role will involve dealing with all aspects of HR for the business, including ER, HR Advice and guidance, HR administration and all day to day HR activities. This is a busy and fast paced role, key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Provide advice to all UK business units as required on issues such as attendance, capability issues, disciplinaries, flexible working etc.;
• Dealing with all aspects of ER including undertake ER meetings, investigations, grievances and provide support on complex ER cases.
• Provide cover for HR Manager at meetings and/or during periods of annual leave
• Manage key relationships within the business, working closely with managers as well as building strong working relationships with the Trade Unions
• Prepare monthly HR Reports and HR information
• Develop and co-ordinate Company policies and procedures, working with both Senior Managers and the Trade Unions;
• Keep up to date with employment law to ensure that any advice given is accurate and relevant;
• Undertake ad hoc projects as required;
• Develop suite of standard letters and any other HR related document to ensure they are fit for purpose and in line with Company policies and procedures;
• Co-ordinate performance management system ensuring annual and six monthly reviews are undertaken;

For this role candidates will ideally be CIPD Qualified and will need to have proven experience working at a HR Advisor level. Strong ER experience and exposure is required for this role, as you will be supporting the business with all ER matters.

This is a varied and hands on role and candidates will have exposure to all aspects of HR - - working as part of a busy and fast paced team.
