THE COMPANY

My client, a heavily expanding clothing wholesale business who have doubled their turnover over the last year, are looking to bring an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant/ Assistant Accountant into their business who can shadow their current Accountant, assist with transactional duties and slowly over time take over the more technical side of Management Accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You'll be expected to do the following:

• Purchase Ledger
• Sales Ledger
• Other financial duties including Credit Control
• General assistance of Management accounting i.e. Budgeting, Cash flow, Planning, Analysis (this is the part of the position you'll be growing into)
• Work alongside a small a compact team

EXPECTED FROM YOU

Ideally, you'll start armed with the following knowledge:

• Xero Accounting experience
• Enthusiasm to learn and ideally progress up the ranks - we are looking for someone who has the drive to one day lead the financial structure
• Approachable and communicative personality; in a small team this is vital
• Thorough experience in transactional accounts (PL, SL, CC, general accounts)
• Basic experience in Management Accounts and reporting into an Accountant
