SME Account Handler : Newcastle city centre

Salary £21,000 - £25,000 + benefits package

Our client, who prides themselves on offering their employees a nurturing and supportive environment in which to develop, are looking for an experienced SME handler to join the team. With responsibility for processing MTA's and renewals for clients typically paying up to £10K premium, you will ideally have at least 12 months commercial insurance experience.

The role of SME Account Handler

• Build strong relationships with clients
• Understand all their general insurance needs across all classes of commercial insurances
• Dealing with premiums of up to £10,000 per policy
• Process renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business
• Be able to negotiate with Insurers and client
• Assistance to an account executive in renewal reports and preparation.

The Requirements of the SME Account Handler

• A strong background in Commercial Insurance
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
• Ideally hold or working towards Cert CII status
