We are currently working with an Electronics Manufacturer in the North West of London seeking a HR Manager to join the team immediately! This position is a year fixed term contract to cover the current HR Manager who is going on Maternity - there is the possibility of this position being made permanent or extended.

As an HR Manager you will be tasked with providing exceptional HR support to our many internal and external employees whilst also managing the whole HR function.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Overseeing and managing the whole HR function
• Managing and administering payroll as well as other employee benefits
• Supporting managers with HR issues and queries
• Leading and conducting investigations and disciplinaries
• Reporting and presenting HR statistics to the Company’s directors
• Chairing the H&S Committee and enabling actions if necessary
• Producing and reviewing risk assessments
• Overseeing the recruitment process and interviewing candidates
• Drawing up and issuing employment contracts
• Periodically revising the Company handbook and helping managers to enforce best practice
• Supporting the Company’s directors and working closely with them
• Reviewing and renewing various business insurances
• Ensuring complete confidentiality at all times.
• Abide by the group Core values and Code of Ethics.

The ideal candidate:

• Must be able to manage the whole HR function
• Will have a sound academic record (at least to A-level, or equivalent, level)
• Will have previous work experience in Human Resources (ideally from a generalist background in manufacturing)
• Must be trustworthy and understand the need for 100% confidentiality
• Diplomacy and excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work well within teams.
• Must be able to work well with people at all levels within the Company/clients companies
• Is outgoing, hardworking and able to work well on own initiative.
• Will be self-motivated and conscientious with exemplary attention to detail.
