We are recruiting for a HR Advisor to join a well established marketing company on a part-time basis.

The role would be for 25 hours per week (they are flexable on what days) and the salary for the 25 hours would be £25,000 (full time equivilant £35,500).

The role would report into the Directors and be responsible for all apects of generalist HR support for 65 employees. It is a busy and fast paced role, wth lots of focus around HR admin, Recruitment, HR advice and guidence to the business and dealing with any HR queries around best practice.

They are looking candidates who have proven HR experience and who can manage their own workload effectively. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Perform on-boarding for joiners; Advise IT of all new starters
• Carry out an induction meeting to ensure all new employees are familiar with the company`s policies, and procedures, fire exits and facilities.
• Preparing HR offer letters, contracts, job descriptions, other HR letters and process all pre-employment checks
• Administer the probation process ensuring Managers know when review meetings need to take place. Manage any performance issues appropriately with relevant managers
• Update new starter presentation, Update staff handbooks etc
• Submit all relevant information to finance for monthly payroll input, Prepare and update monthly pension contributions schedules to pension provider
• First point of contact for all HR related queries - holidays, maternity/paternity leave, sick leave
• Maintain absence records for all employees (holidays and sickness)
• Manage recrutiment - Use external jobsites, Ensure the job ads are put onto the company website, advertise on Linkedin, Arrange interviews for line managers.
• Review recruitment agency PSL - negotiating best rates and building successful relationships
• Carry out return to work interviews for employees who have been off sick for long periods of time
• Manage leaver administration to enable smooth transition; including processing all necessary documents, ensuring Company property is returned, access removed, and arrange exit interviews
• Arrange training courses for employees as required
• Manage work experience and internships

For this role candidates will need to have proven HR experience across all generalist areas. Ideally studying towards CIPD, although this is not essential.

Excellent communication skills are required, as you will be dealing with people across the business.
