With 13 offices in the UK and Ireland, 1,700 people and an international capability in over 100 countries, who offer a variety of bespoke financial planning services, ranging from basic to complex financial reviews and advice in connection with providing for retirement, extracting retirement income, tax and investment planning.

Job Description

Purpose of role:
To provide administrative support to the personal financial planning team.
Reports to: Partner : Personal Financial Planning

Key responsibilities:

Technical Support

• Research and undertake technical assessments of cases submitted by Advisers.
• Produce compliant and technically accurate suitability letters and reports within reasonable timescales
• Act as author of suitability letters which will be signed off by an appropriate qualified Adviser
• Assist in answering client queries
• Liaise with compliance department regarding technical queries
• Deal with complex cases and identify solutions

Regulatory Compliance

• Meet all regulatory and departmental requirements (as detailed within the role profile).

Research

• Keep up to date with legislation changes and brief Advisers accordingly
• Obtain illustrations from insurers along with technical information, performance enquiries and general provider information
• Analyse raw data and research product markets to assist advisers in making client recommendations

• Deal with clients by telephone, email, face to face and in writing
• Deal with client requests in a timely and professional manner

• Manage records and data appropriately in line with Group policy.
• Ensure comprehensive client records are kept and that these are accurate and up to date at all times.

Key Competencies:

• Analytical Thinking : ability to analyse raw data in order to identify shortfalls in client provision and compare products and companies to deliver best advice
• Communication: must be able to articulate information clearly and professionally and produce concise, well-structured documents
• Must be Diploma Level 4 as a minimum

Remuneration is negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications. Excellent benefit package
