An opportunity has arisen to join a fast paced and exciting finance team as a Purchase Ledger Clerk. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to develop a career within a busy finance department of a global company, study support will be offered to the successful purchase ledger clerk after an initial 6 month period and there are lots of opportunities for growth and progression within the company.

The main duties of the Purchase Ledger Clerk will include:

• Matching, Batching and coding of invoices
• Manage and Maintain all documentation
• Reconcile and update supplier statements
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and ensure information is maintained and up to date
• Prepare payment reconciliations
• Preparation of BACS payment runs
• Query resolution
• Ensure all invoices are authorised and paid within creditors time restrictions

The successful purchase ledger clerk should be enthusiastic about developing a career within finance, you may be studying or looking to begin studying your AAT and have some experience within a purchase ledger role or an accounts position which includes purchase ledger. Experience of systems such as SAP are advantageous but not essential although you will have a good working knowledge of MS packages such as Excel.

This role is working within a team but you must be a self-motivated and hardworking individual with good attention to detail and excellent organisation skills.

The company offers a salary of up to £18,000 and a generous benefits package and study support, along with ample opportunities to progress within the team.
