Job Information

Our Clients` are Independent Financial Advisers with many years experience of both corporate and personal financial planning who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, totally independent of their financial product providers, guaranteeing clients impartial and unbiased advice. A comprehensive, ongoing service is offered using the latest information technology available.
They require an additional back office administrator to support the Financial Advisors

Key Tasks

The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate maintenance of client files, including the creation and updating of fact finds, ensuring all compliance requirements are satisfactorily fulfilled, preparing valuations and obtaining quotations, undertaking portfolio transactions, liaising with providers, preparing client documents, resolving admin based queries from clients and filing.

There will also be other general tasks as required from time to time to assist with the provision of admin support to the Director and servicing to a client. All administration staff will be expected to be flexible and willing to carry out any jobs needing to be done within the department.

The successful candidate will be confident in:

Providing full support to the team which will require strong organisational and administrative skills;
Pre-meeting preparation for client meetings and post-meeting administration and tracking;
Diarising to ensure client paperwork and proposals move forward, obtaining letters of authority from clients;
Strong communication skills with providers, clients and within the company;
Handling simple client queries in relation to administration;
Being proactive with regard to industry changes and ensuring the team complies with FCA and internal compliance procedures
Ensuring all client information and files remain up to date and accurate;
