Our Client a leading IFA in Chelmsford, seeking a Qualified Paraplanner.

The primary roles are:

To write suitability reports for clients of the Managing Director. Reports are often of a technical nature!
To attend client meetings along with the Managing Director where necessary
To conduct whole of market research via Avelo, FE Analytics, Synaptic Comparator, O&M Pension Profiler, Sesame etc.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Level 4 qualified and ideally en route to Chartered status or working towards. May consider a Junior Paraplanner for the right person.
Must have at least three years previous experience of working in a paraplanning role
Must have excellent customer-care skills
Will need a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and preferably knowledge of First Software, The Exchange, and insurance company online applications.
Must have an excellent command of English and Maths
Must be able to work under own initiative, and to undertake a variety of tasks by prioritising work effectively

The salary for this post will be up to £40,000 per annum plus profit and qualification related and bonuses (estimated £2k per annum), to be reviewed after twelve months. They will expect employees to pass two agreed exams each year to qualify for 100% of bonus. Qualifications costs are funded by the client. First exam agreed after 6 month probationary period.

The hours of work will be 9 : 5.30 Monday to Friday each week. Holiday entitlement will initially be 21 days per annum plus bank holidays, rising to 25 days in year 5 of employment.
