Cameron James is partnering with a successful and well established Sheffield based Commercial Insurance Broker who is seeking an SME Account Handler to join their team.

The core duties of the role will be to compile New Business quotes, process MTA`s and generate and negotiate renewal terms for a wide range of SME businesses typically paying up £10k in premium. A drive to offer excellent customer service and go the `extra mile` for your clients is a must.

The role of SME Account Handler

• Build strong relationships with clients
• Understand all their general insurance needs across all classes of commercial insurances
• Dealing with premiums of up to £10,000 per policy
• Process renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business
• Be able to negotiate with Insurers and client
• Assistance to an account executive in renewal reports and preparation.

The Requirements of the SME Account Handler

• A strong background in Commercial Insurance
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
