Our client, who has recently secured a new office in the Nottingham area is seeking an experienced Account Handler with a wide knowledge of Commercial insurances to offer internal support the incumbent Account Executive. A good working knowledge of Acturis is essential for this role

The role of Account Handler - General Commercial Insurance:

• Build strong relationships with clients
• Understand all their general insurance needs across all classes of commercial insurances
• Working as part of the corporate team : typically dealing with premiums between £500 to £75k
• Process renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business
• Be able to negotiate with Insurers and client
• Assistance to an account executive in renewal reports and preparation.

The Requirements of the Account Handler - General Insurance:

• A strong background of General Commercial Insurance - a minimum of 3 - 5 years
• Must have experience of using Acturis
• Live within commutable distance of the office or happy to relocate
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
