We are working on an exclusive basis with a growing Facilities Management business and they are recruiting for an experienced HR Manager to join the business.

Reporting into the CEO the role will involve managing 1 person within HR and have overall responsibility for the HR function across the business. The role will include all aspects of generalist HR duties, including ER, Recruitment, TUPE, HR best practice and advice around Employment Law matters. This is a varied and fast paced role, that offers excellent scope to develop and take on more responsibility. Key duties will include;

• Reporting into Directors, managing all aspects of HR for the business - reporting into the Senior Management team
• Providing full HR support to around 300 employees
• Providing support and advice to the business on ER matters, including day to day issues, disciplinaries, grievances, performance management etc.
• Keeping up to date with Employment Law matters and advising the business on any changes.
• Managing recruitment across the business including candidate attraction and sourcing, screening and interviewing, managing the offer process, inductions and probation reviews
• Supporting the business with TUPE and managing / advising on the process
• Leading and managing all training activities and new initiatives, including design and implementation of employee training and workshops, new starter training etc
• Providing Directors with HR MI figures - attendance, sickness, recruitment costs, employee trends, turnover etc
• Managing and overseeing HR administration, including starters / leavers, on-boarding and off-boarding, updating and managing employee records
• Involved with HR projects and initiatives across the business

For this role candidates will need to be CIPD Qualified and have proven experience working at this level.

It is essential that candidates have previous TUPE experience and ideally have experience working with both blue and white collar employees.

This is a hands on and busy role, working in a Generalist HR position for a growing SME. Candidates must be prepared to be involved with all aspects from HR admin through to HR strategy.
