We are working on an exclusive basis with a growing Facilities Management business and they are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Manager / Head of Commercial to join the business.

Reporting into the CEO the role will involve working as part of the senior management team and will provide support and leadership across commercial areas of the business. The key focus of the role will be to work closely with the MD on the growth strategy of the business, implementing new initiatives and reviewing existing revenue streams. This is a varied and fast paced role, that offers excellent scope to develop and take on more responsibility. Key duties will include;

• Reporting into the CEO and working closely with the Operations Director and senior management team
• Lead and manage the growth strategy of the business, providing ideas / initiatives, roll out and implementation of growth plans across the group
• Review and analysis of existing sales and services - margins, sales and performance
• Introducing and broadening company products and services to maximise revenue streams
• Competitor analysis and research
• Producing pricing strategies - products, margins and pricing analysis
• Managing and leading on bids and tenders; producing and writing bids
• Meeting and presenting to clients for new business
• Review al new and existing contracts, reviewing terms and conditions, liabilities etc.
• New product development
• Managing operational growth - review of marketing, pricing analysis, tenders etc.

For this role candidates will need to be commercially aware and have experience working in a similar role.

It is essential that candidates have very strong commercial acumen, have previous experience with bids / tenders, new business, pricing and growth strategy experience. Facilities management or similar industry experience would be ideal, although not essential.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be meeting and dealing with key clients - both new and existing.
