A North Yorkshire based insurance company have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Manager to join their busy and growing finance department as a member of management reporting directly to the Finance Director. It is an excellent opportunity to join this company as it goes from strength to strength.

It is essential for this role that you have previous compliance experience and have an excellent knowledge of the financial conduct regulations and be keep up with these as and when legislation changes and be able to ensure the business meets these regulations.

The main duties of the Compliance Manager will include:

• Providing all necessary compliance training for staff and are carried out within the correct regulatory framework
• Reporting of any non-compliance or breaches of compliance
• Monitoring all aspects of the company`s regulatory obligations
• Keeping up to date with all FCA regulations
• Making notifications to the FCA in an accurate and timely manner including : Gabriel Return, Complaints Return, Changes to standing data etc
• Ensuring all correspondences are compliant with FCA requirements and all relevant records are maintained
• Monitoring client money transactions
• Ensuring ARs and IARs are monitored for compliance with FCA requirements

The ideal Compliance Manager will have a logically and methodical approach to their work load with a proactive and self-motivated attitude. Experience of working within a regulated environment is advantageous due to the nature of the company.
