Experienced Claims Handler

Working in partnership with a leading Claims Specialist in West Yorkshire we are currently recruiting for Experienced Claims Handlers to work within a growing team.

As an experienced Claims Handler you will be responsible for achieving strong customer performance results by working as a team. You will deal with Third Party Claims by both email and over the telephone and you will help to settle these claims as fairly as possible, whilst delivering great customer service. You will also be required to complete other operational activities appropriate to your skills and experience.

The successful Claims Handler will have:

• Previous insurance experience, ideally within a claims team.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with a tenacious mind-set
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
• The ability to achieve and exceed targets
• The capacity to manage and deal with change effectively and timely
• A professional attitude
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English

The ideal candidate for the higher salary will have either Third Party Claims or Credit Hire experience.

In return you will receive a salary of £16,000 - £18,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. You also get 25days holiday with the option to buy and sell annual leave, a comprehensive training induction programme, providing you with the knowledge required, performance related bonus, support towards insurance qualifications and internal development programmes and health benefits such as free eye tests, flu jabs and the option of private medical insurance. Working hours will be a shift between 08.30 : 20.00 Monday to Friday and some Saturday mornings.
