Job Title: Accounts Assistant/Junior Accountant
Location: East Sussex
Package: Up to £22,000 + benefits

An urgent requirement for a Accounts Assistant/Junior Accountant has opened up in a expanding local firm in East Sussex. This firm have recently bought out another practice and are now in the process of winning new key business which means they are in need of another accounts assistant or junior accountant chance for someone who is AAT qualified or equivalent or part way through there ACCA to expand their accountancy knowledge in an ambitious practice who will support the successful candidate through their studies.

Responsibilities for this role include:

- Accounts drafting for limited companies, LLPs and self-employed individuals
- Assist with Tax Accountant with their client portfolio (Ltd companies, LLP`s, sole traders and HNW)
- Bookkeeping
- Payroll
- Assisting the senior member of the firm on day to day responsibilities

Requirements for this role:

- AAT qualified (or equivalent) is essential, preferably working towards ACCA/ACA qualification
- Experience working in a accountancy practice is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
