We are currently assisting a large facilities management organisation with the recruitment of an ambitious HR Officer / HR Advisor. This role is to start ASAP and is based in London City.

Reporting into the Regional HR Manager the position is a fully generalist HR role, providing HR support to around 300 employees across multi-sites in London and the South. Travelling to sites will be for around 2-3 days per week.

This is an urgent requirement so candidates wil ideally be either immediate or on maximum 1 months notice.

The role will encompass all areas of HR including providing support and guidance with HR policies and procedures, ER - leading and advising on grievances, disciplinary etc, Training, Recruitment, TUPE and HR administration. Responsibilities will include;

• Supporting the HR Manager with all aspects of HR support
• Providing support and guidance to managers and employees across the business and at various sites on all HR matters
• Attending on-site meetings to provide support with HR at various London based sites - 2-3 times per week
• Guidance and advice on ER issues: disciplinary, grievances, sickness and all day to day matters
• Supporting the business with all Training and L&D requirements
• Dealing with HR administration, updating employee records and dealing with day to day queries
• Responsibilities for the full employee life cycle: starters and leavers, on-boarding, off boarding, contracts etc.
• Working on key projects in the business
• Assisting with TUPE

For this role candidates will ideally be studying towards CIPD and have proven experience at this level. Rounded Generalist HR experience is required, with some exposure of dealing with ER issues and providing direct support to the business.

Facilities management, utilities or similar industry experience would be advantageous, although not essential. This is a very fast paced environment, so candidates need to be confident, resilient and able to manage their own workload effectively. It is essential to hold excellent communication skills and have the ability to communicate effectively to all employees across the business.
