Cameron James is delighted to be partnering with a very well established and respected Newcastle based brokerage who is currently seeking an SME Account Handler to join their team. This position is offering a fantastic opportunity to play an instrumental part in building a new commercial division within the company.

With a background gained in either Personal Lines or Commercial insurance, you will be a driven individual with a passion for generating new business and offering an outstanding level of customer service. In return, my client is offering a very competitive starting salary and commission scheme.

The role of SME Account Handler

• Build strong relationships with clients
• Understand all their general insurance needs across all classes of commercial insurances
• Dealing with premiums of up to £10,000 per policy
• Process renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business
• Be able to negotiate with Insurers and client

The Requirements of the SME Account Handler

• A strong background in either Personal Lines or Commercial insurance
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
