Human Resources Manager, Beauty & Home

I`m currently working with a private members` clubs, who cater to those in the film, media, fashion and creative industries.

They are currently housing a Beauty brand that is pioneering group of honest, natural and therapeutic product ranges made in England. They use the highest quality organic, fair trade and wild crafted essential oils from around the world.

The Role
The position is responsible for People Development and Recruitment support for beauty brand and Spas and Retail Support Office.
The role will involve Managing the People Development department, through successful recruitment, employee retention and development planning. In addition, ensuring new starters are on boarded correctly, ongoing training is consistently offered to new and existing employees and ensuring all sites receive excellent HR Support.

Main Recruitment Responsibilities;

• Co-ordinate UK recruitment; along with Home and Beauty Support Office.
• Ensure all sites are adequately staffed, working with General Managers to plan ahead and find sufficient cover when needed.
• Recruit and manage a talent pool of therapists/receptionists to offer cover support at the sites.
• Liaise with General Managers and HOD`s (weekly) to keep up to date with recruitment requirements and staffing levels.
• Manage the recruitment for all new UK openings / Manage the online recruitment websites.
• Establish head count and coordinate rotas for new openings in relation to staffing matrix.
• Write and place adverts in relevant publications, web sites etc.
• Monitor media to identify opportunities for advertising.
• Build on existing contacts with beauty colleges locally to assist with the recruitment process.

Main Human Resource Responsibilities;

• Offer ongoing HR support to all retail sites, as well as the members club Retail Support Office.
• Ensure the on-boarding process is followed in all departments. Regularly review and update, to ensure the process remains relevant.
• Organise and implement on-boarding training for General Managers, Assistant General Managers and other senior roles.
• Advise and support all Managers with disciplinary and grievance procedures. Ensuring the correct processes are followed as per their standards
• Alongside the Group Head of Spas, implement and monitor employee incentives.
• Ensure compliance of all administrative requirements for new starters according to statutory requirements and standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in an operational role within the Spa or Retail industry
• Previous experience working within recruitment is essential for this role
• Strong people skills
• Strong knowledge of HR practices
