Our client, a leading National Insurance Broker based in Leeds is seeking an SME Account Handler to supplement their team.

This position has become available due to continued expansion and growth within the business. As a result of this impressive growth and ambitious plans in place for the future, this position could lead to opportunities to become trained as a Commercial Broker.

The Role
You will be responsible for contacting potential clients to promote the company and their service in a professional manner whilst working to set sales targets.
Key responsibilities

• Telephone appointment making / Quoting of Business
• Building up your own pipeline of business
• Sending out company literature to prospective clients
• Following up sales leads

The Candidate
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated team player with the ability to think on their feet and build relationships both over the phone.
Key Skills

• Previous commercial insurance experience.
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Self-motivated
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Programmes
• Experience using CRM systems
• Ability to relate to a wide range of clients
