Job Information

A rare part time opportunity for a Payroll Admin to join a government funded organisation on a 12 month FTC. My client is looking for an experienced Payroll Admin to work 18 hours per week.

The main duties of the role will include:

• Working closely with the finance manager to effectively manage payroll deadlines
• Processing new starters / leavers, any changes to the standard data
• Calculating statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, SPP
• Maintain sickness records and liaise with HR as appropriate
• Complete pension records, recording changes
• Ensuring all monthly payments and data submissions are correctly made to HMRC
• Query resolution
• Ensure compliance with Auto Enrolment and re-enrolment requirements
• Maintain files and records in accordance with audit requirements and the Data Protection Act
• Support HR in issuing contracts of employment and supporting documentation

The ideal candidate will be CIPP qualified, although QBE will be considered for this role. it is essential that you are experienced in high volume payroll and can confidently work to strict deadlines.
