Responsible for the end to end recruitment life cycle, as well as providing support for the successful management of the HR function for the whole company across 2 UK offices your main responsibilities are described below -

Recruitment:

• Management of the end to end recruitment process - including preparation of job and person/profile specifications, posting job vacancies, sourcing and briefing agencies, candidate generation, interview scheduling, screening and short listing and conducting candidate interviews.
• Maximise direct candidate sourcing using job sites, social media tools and candidate pipelines.
• Advise managers on candidate attraction, advertising and assessment methods using best practice.
• Provide interview advice and coaching to hiring managers.
• To update weekly and monthly reports to highlight trends, risks and action points.
• To provide on-going external benchmarking and highlight any issues or market trends to the wider HR team and key stakeholders.
• Manage HR Inductions for all new employees and Quarterly Welcome Events.
• Coordinate all new employee induction plans.
• Ensure all costs/expenses for recruitment related matters are accounted for and properly audited.
• Contributing and leading on projects and recruitment-wide initiatives.

HR Support:

• Assist the HR Assistant with the preparation of offer letters and contracts and ensuring all new employees are on the HR database.
• Assist with implementation of training across the company including the organisation of both internal and external training, administration of training plans, ensuring the training matrix is kept up to date and accurate monthly reporting.
• Assist with the maintenance of the employee databases, updating employees` personal, job and pay data as and when required.
• Assist with the delivery of employee surveys as and when required.
• Undertake specific projects as directed by the HR and management teams.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• Experience in an in-house recruitment role (not agency based) within a small team;
• Must be fully conversant with best practice interview and assessment techniques;
• Good understanding and proficiency in HR best practice.
• Experience gained within a business-to-business/commercial environment.
• Excellent administration and organisational skills.
• Attention to detail, organisation and time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines essential.
• Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office skills.
• Highly developed presentation, facilitation and communications skills, with the ability to build internal and external relationships.
• Professional attitude (full discretion required).
• Part-qualified CIPD beneficial.
