Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper
Location: North London
Package Details: Up to £35,000

I am currently working on a Senior Bookkeeper role for an award winning and expanding Top 100 practice based in North London. This position has come about due to the firms recent successful business development drive which has led to an increased client portfolio which needs handling. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper who has worked in an Accountancy practice who has knowledge of using XERO (this is essential) to work with businesses turning over up to £80 million across a variety of sectors including Media and Technology.

Responsibilities for this role include handling:

• VAT Returns
• Sales Invoices
• Purchase Invoices
• Bank Reconciliations
• Control accounts reconciliations
• Management Accounts
• Sound double entry bookkeeping

Key requirements for this role include:

• Experience working in accountancy practice
• Excellent knowledge of Xero (certified)
• Excellent knowledge of Sage Line 50
• Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Excel essential.
• Good knowledge of QuickBooks preferable but not essential
• Knowledge of other Accounting software would be useful.
