Job Information

We are working with a well-established national services based organisation and they are looking to recruit a Data Protection and Compliance Coordinator to manage GDPR within their business.

This will involve reviewing current processors and procedures, implementing new initiatives, ensuring this is rolled out effectively to all employees within the business and managed for their customers. They will be full responsibility around all GDPR requests including responding to information, investigating any breaches and providing advice and guidance to the business.

This is an exciting opportunity that will be involved with key projections in the organisation and will involve liaison with all departments. Key responsibilities will include;

• Managing the data protection culture and processes across the company.
• Investigation of data breaches and working with the business to put actions in to place.
• Assisting in the development of internal systems to prevent data breaches and ensure General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance.
• Dealing with data protection queries including data subject access requests.
• Data Privacy and Compliance audits across all national sites
• Investigation of all company complaints and serving as the final point of contact for escalated complaints.
• Ensuring that data protection and GDPR processors are understood by the business by designing and rolling out effective training
• Involvement in new initiatives and project work

For this role it is essential that candidates have a good understanding of data protection and GDPR guidelines. In addition strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively to a wide audience is essential.

This is an exciting opportunity and will involve liaison across multiple departments, managers and directors - so hard work and achievements will be recognised. It is important that this individual is able to self-manage, prioritise their own workload and be able to use initiative
