Cameron James is delighted to be working in partnership with one of the North East`s leading independent Commercial Brokers in recruiting for a Commercial Account Handler.

Our client, a very well established and respected community broker which places huge importance on offering their clients an outstanding level of customer service, is seeking an experienced insurance professional with a broad knowledge of the majority of commercial classes of insurance.

You will be responsible for providing new business quotations, processing mid-term amendments, generating and potentially remarketing renewals and dealing with general day to day policy enquires.

As a business that traditionally has very low employee attrition rates you will be joining a team where you will be valued and rewarded as an individual rather than a number

You will:

• Have a strong knowledge of commercial insurance
• Ideally, have previous experience of working in a broking environment
• An engaging, self-confident personality
• Either hold or be working towards Cert CII status or above
• Previous experience of using the Open GI trading platform
