Cameron James is delighted to be partnering with one of the UK`s largest Commercial Insurance Brokers who is seeking a New Business Development Executive to join their Newcastle office.

Our client is looking for an experienced insurance professional who can hit the ground running, handling a range of commercial policies at varying premium sizes in a new business capacity. As befits an organisation backed by the financial muscle of a Global business you will have to access to all major insurer markets and the most competitive terms available.

Your will be required to:-

• Develop a client base from the leads provided, referrals and own networking
• Attend client and insurer meetings as required
• Establish solid working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
• Liaise extensively with other departments internally to maximise wider client coverage
• Develop new and existing client relationships in the commercial/corporate insurance market

For this position our client requires you will have experience in:-

• A background in commercial insurance, ideally within a similar client facing broking role
• Ideally be Dip CII qualified or above
• Client management and sales experience
• A motivated, professional and hardworking attitude
• Sales techniques and methods.
