Our client is a leading Bolton based Independent Chartered insurance Broker who have been a trusted name in the insurance industry for over 40 years. Due to continued growth they are now looking to expand their broking department with a new role for a Trainee Commercial Broker.

This position would ideally suit a candidate who has gained an initial grounding in either a Personal Lines or Commercial broking role or is looking to develop a successful career in the insurance industry.
As a broker who prides themselves on providing a high level of staff development, full study support will be given towards attaining industry recognised CII qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all broking documentation associated with placing, amending or renewing clients` insurance programmes is completed in a reasonable timescale and is accurate.
• Provide risk advice/risk management/risk prevention information on both Commercial Motor and Non-Motor risks to customers, in conjunction with Underwriters as appropriate.
• Any other duties, as required by your Line Manager, in accordance with the nature of this position.

• Previous experience of working in a broking environment or a desire to build a career in the insurance industry
• A confident, engaging personality
• A strong academic background
• Solid IT skills
• Previous experience of using TAM would be beneficial
