My client, based in Central London, are currently recruiting for a Payroll & Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. The primary focus of this role will entail providing support to all areas of the business assisting in the companies Payroll and Accounts functions. This role will suit somebody with previous Payroll and Accounts experience, who is now looking for more accounting experience and the desire for professional development.

Main duties:

• Weekly and monthly payroll
• Maintenance of Sales and Purchase Ledger
• Assisting in Credit Control
• Working alongside the HR and Operations departments
• Holiday entitlement calculations
• Pension contribution and payment
• Assisting with payroll call whilst ensure any discrepancies are recorded
• Entering accurate information; new employees, leavers and personal data changes

Key Skills:

• Previous payroll and accounts experience (Essential)
• Previous experience using Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll (Essential)
• Experience working in a customer focused and often pressurised environment

This position will suit someone who has some experience of working in a small accounts team.

• Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 09.00 : 18.00
