Cameron James is partnering with an independent Brokerage based in Bradford who are now looking for a Commercial Account Handler.

Our client is an independent Insurance broker run by established insurance professionals working across a wide range of sectors who have gained sector specialisms in Solicitors, Medical Reporting Organisations, Charities, Social Welfare and Property Risks.

For the commercial Insurance Handling position our client is looking for: -

• A proven track record in commercial broking: ideally 3 or 4 years
• Experience in sales/servicing existing and new client accounts
• Exposure to all major classes of insurance
• The ability to deal with new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments, reviewing the cover and terms as necessary
• Handling Premiums up to of £100,000
• The skills required to develop client relationships in order to maximise business opportunities. To provide regular advice and guidance on insurance issues, policy wordings etc.
• Cert CII qualified or equivalent would be desirable
• Experience of Acturis would be desirable

In return you will receive a salary circa £26,000 DOE, pension, bonus, flexible benefits scheme.

The job would ideally suit candidates able to work under their own initiative with a strong business acumen.
