Commercial/Corporate Claims Executive

Colchester

Salary : Up to £35k DOE
A national broker in Colchester is now looking to add an experienced Commercial/Corporate Claims Executive to their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for looking after claims of all classes of business with no upper limit for the Broker.

Key Responsibilities

• Internal and client facing
• Investigating, handling and managing a wide range of commercial claims
• Building and maintaining relationships across the commercial insurance market - with insurers, solicitors, loss adjusters, surveyors, suppliers -in the interests of clients from a variety of sectors
• Comfortable providing advice and comments (written or face to face) in a legal or commercial claims management context to internal and external professionals

Experience Required

• Likely to have a minimum of 2-3 years within a commercial claims environment-Ideally through a combination of time spent with relevant insurers /solicitors and /or a major Insurance brokers
• Experience of being face to face with Insurers/clients
• Excellent communication skills with a good telephone manner
• A keen interest in progression within Insurance
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
