We are working with a well-established and growing Property / Lettings company and they are actively recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the business ASAP.

The role will work as part of the Development team and will be responsible for prospecting new clients, preparing valuation, quotations and pricing - with ultimate focus of increasing the business property portfolio. This will include working to sales target and managing sales pipelines. In return the company is offering a competitive basic plus monthly bonus (OTE including commission of £40,000 - £50,000) and car allowance.

Candidates will need to have 3-4 years letting experience and lettings valuing experience - in addition to strong sales and business development experience. This role would be suitable for candidates with a background within Lettings Agent, Maintenance Management, Construction or Council / Housing background. Knowledge of other languages would be useful but are not essential. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
• Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
• Identify and convert potential new sources of business growth
• Research and develop a thorough understanding of the property market and various council requirements
• Developing long-term client relationships
• Carrying out client premises reviews
• Preparing quotations and pricing for clients
• Develop strategic partnerships to aid the acquisition effort
• Maintain forward visibility of pipeline activity to ensure achievement of monthly and annual financial objectives
• Drive continual improvement in the quality of pipelines
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building, H&S rules and regulations
• Compliance with all lettings rules and regulations for lettings sector in line with relevant Boroughs and Councils` requirements; specifically, HMO`s
• Keeping up to date and understanding all market changes in requirements

For this role it is essential that candidates have proven experience working in a similar position and have strong lettings and lettings valuing experience

Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate excellent negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills - in addition to being comfortable working to sales targets.

Strong communication skills and being results driven are essential, with the ability to work within a fast-paced target driven environment and have a business winning/development mentality. For this role candidates will ideally be able to drive, have a valid licence and preferably their own car.
