Business Development Manager

Oxford

Basic salary up to £50k plus bonus and benefits

Our client is a leading Independent Insurance Broker based in Oxford. Due to growth they are now looking to add a tenacious New Business Executive to the team.

The role will involve developing accounts across all classes of Commercial Insurance, wil premiums well in excess of £1,000.

In this role you will receive the full support and backing of a dedicated Account Handler as well as the new business broking team to assist you in acquiring the new business.

This is a position that would suit either an existing Account Executive/New Business Executive or an experienced Account Handler looking to take a step up in their career.

Experience Required

• A minimum of 5 years Commercial / Corporate Insurance experience
• Excellent Communication skills, both oral and written
• Self-motivation and a drive to achieve new sales
• Excellent negotiation skills with Insurers and prospects
• The ability to meet and exceed targets and KPI`s
• CII or progress towards would be beneficial
