Job Information

Working in partnership with a leading specialist housing contractor we are currently looking for Quantity Surveyor`s to work within the Central London division, often with high profile clients and through supporting the management team you will have the opportunity to make a real difference. This role is full time, permanent and would be based at the Head Office in Southwark and you will liaise with clients throughout London and the South East.

As the Quantity Surveyor you will have:

• Previous maintenance, minor works and project works utilising schedules of rates (PSA and NSR essential)

OR

• Previous experience across a range of work streams including refurbishment and new builds contract
• Budgeting and estimating from first principles
• Proven ability to minimise cost, and to maximise value and cashflow.
• A working knowledge of standard forms of contracts.
• Supplier and subcontractor engagement
• Cost reporting and final accounting
• Dynamic approach to working under pressure and meeting deadlines.

The successful applicant should have:

• Proven experience in a similar surveying/estimating role
• Qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar function
• Excellent IT skills, preferably Excel, Word, Powerpoint and estimating/surveying software.
• Holder of full clean driver`s license
