Cameron James is delighted to be partnering with a staunchly independent Leeds based brokerage who is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join their team.

My client is seeking an experienced broker who is comfortable dealing with a wide range of commercial insurance products and who has the ambition to develop into a corporate broking or account executive position in the longer term.

With over 40 years` experience of offering an exceptional level of customer service, our client combines all the attributes of a traditional community-based broker with a very modern, forward-thinking business model which is aiming to grow the business significantly over the next couple of years.

Responsibilities:

• Account Handling a book of SME clients (Shops, Offices, Restaurants, Property Owners)
• Dealing with client queries
• Processing new business, MTA`s and renewals
• Developing new business leads
• Acting as the first point of contact for claims

Key competencies:

• A grounding in commercial insurance
• A lively, outgoing personality
• Experience of using the Acturis trading platform would be highly desirable
• Cert CII or a willingness to work towards
