We are working with a growing and well established financial services organisation and they are recruiting for an experienced HR Manager / HR Business Partner to join the business.

The role will be initially for a fixed 6 month contract, with a view of going permanent after this time.

Reporting into the Senior HR Manager, the role will involve working in a busy HR team, providing a comprehensive HR service to a client group of c800 employees. The role will encompass a generalist operational HR service, including managing all areas of ER, advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures, managing recruitment and involvement on various HR projects. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Working as part of a HR team of 6 people, providing HR support to a client group of 800 employees
• Providing generalist HR support to the business and managing and dealing with all operational areas of HR
• Supporting Managers and Partners with advice, guidance and coaching on all areas of ER and performance management, including day to day matters through to disciplinary and grievances etc.
• Being a point of contact for any queries, advice and guidance on a range of HR matters, policies and procedures
• Managing the recruitment process for the business, including talent management and mapping
• Supporting the business with all areas of HR, including managing HR processors and procedures
• Providing advice and guidance to the HR assistant and administrator when needed
• Working on various HR projects with the Senior HR manager - Reward and Bonus, Talent Mapping, Diversity & Inclusion, TUPE and change management

For this role it is essential that candidate have strong operational HR experience and have worked at this level. CIPD Qualified would be preferred, although this is not essential, as relevant experience and being able to hit the ground running are the key requirements

The role requires a robust, confident and professional individual, who is comfortable working in a fast paced and high volume environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be supporting and working with Directors and key stakeholders across the business.

Professional services industry experience would be an advantageous i.e. Financial services, Banking, Wealth management, Insurance, Legal or Accountancy firms. However any services or other industry would be considered for the right candidate.
