An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Account Handler to join a leading firm of Leeds based independent Insurance Brokers.

Our client, one of the largest independent brokers in the North, who continue to post impressive year on year growth, is seeking an experienced commercial broker who possesses strong cross commercial experience dealing with clients operating in the mid-corporate area, typically paying up to £500,000 in premium.

As this role involves servicing some of the brokers` largest, most complex clients on behalf of the directors; we are ideally requiring a candidate with a minimum of 5 years` commercial broking experience who holds or is actively working towards achieving a minimum of Cert CII status.

Responsibilities:

• To act as the first point of contact to provide clients with professional support and accurate information with regards to their product and services.
• To build and maintain an excellent rapport with our clients, providers and colleagues
• To take ownership of all tasks and proactively manage priorities and deadlines
• Respond to clients queries in a timely and accurate manner.
• To provide relevant information to the sales team to ensure sales opportunities are realised.
• To produce and maintain accurate and complete documentation /correspondence.
• Produce high-quality correspondence, using standard templates, writing clearly, concisely and professionally.
• To log all business activity, ensuring revenue is accurately recorded and documented.

Key competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of the commercial broking market.
• 5 years` experience gained in a commercial broking environment
• Ideally, be a minimum of Cert CII qualified
• Experience of using the trading platform
