We are working in partnership with a well-established organisation based in Wetherby and they are recruiting for an experienced Senior HR Adviser to join their team.

As a Senior HR Adviser you will be required to oversee the provision of a high quality HR service, provide support and advice to senior managers and be lead on key HR projects. Key areas of responsibility will include;

• Working as part of a busy HR team, which provides HR support to c1500 employees across various sites
• Reporting into the HRBP and working alongside 2 Senior HR Advisors.
• Deliver a proactive and value added HR service to the organisation
• Attend meetings with Trade Union representatives as required
• Provide quality advice to managers in respect of employee relations` issues
• Responsible for undertaking Job Evaluation and advising managers in line with Pay Policy
• Support and advise managers and staff on matters across the whole spectrum of human resources.
• Undertake reward reviews and make recommendations for change and improvements the meet business needs
• Work on various change initiatives and ensure that strategic objectives are fulfilled across the business. Including management of change, and organisational development projects.
• Lead and work on HR and Strategic projects with minimum supervision from HRBP`s
• Coordinate senior and complex recruitment campaigns to attract and recruit appropriate candidates at all levels
• Deliver workshops for managers and staff on HR topics and new initiatives

For this role candidates will need to hold CIPD and have proven experience at a Senior HR Advisor level. In addition to generalist HR experience, candidates will need to have strong HR project and change management experience.

Union experience would be an advantage although not essential, and relevant industry experience : public sector or Education.

It is essential that candidates are comfortable working within a fast moving environment and hold up to date knowledge on employment legislation and professional HR issues. Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills are required.
