We are working with a well-established PR business and they are recruiting for an experienced HR Business Partner.

Reporting into the HR Director and working as part of a busy HR team, the role will involve partnering with key stakeholders, delivering an effective business focused and commercial HR service, in line with business strategy.

Key areas of the role will include all generalist area of HR including providing expert advice and guidance to stakeholders, including performance management, learning and development and best practice for implementation of HR initiatives. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Reporting into the HR Director, providing a comprehensive HR service to a diverse client group across multi-sites
• Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders and the wider HR team
• Understand the key people issues and associated requirements to meet both current and future organisational challenges and to design strategies and solutions to address these issues
• To act as an ambassador for a forward-thinking, proactive HR function
• Pro-actively involved in business projects which have an impact on HR activity
• Identify and support the business to successfully deliver credible, customer focused, cost-effective and innovative recruitment and retention solutions
• Provide professional, strategic and operational HR advice on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures and in line with employment legislation
• Supporting the business with complex casework and providing risk analysis to support this.
• Developing HR operations in all areas including capability, disciplinary, grievance, and sickness absence policy and procedures, and keeping abreast of changes in employment law and decisions made by Employment Tribunals
• Identify solutions to challenging and complex ER issues and present options for management to consider in order to mitigate Claims
• Liaise with other members of the HR team, coaching and mentoring less experienced team members and sharing best practice
• Oversee and provide support to 1 direct report

For this role candidates will ideally be MCIPD qualified and hold proven experience as a HR Business Partner. It would be advantageous (although not essential) to have experience within PR, Media, Marketing, Communications or similar industry.

Strong generalist HR experience is required on an operational and strategic level, with the ability to put forward recommendations and implement new HR initiatives. Multi-site, TUPE and strong ER experience would be desirable for this role.
