Job Information

We are working with a well-established and market leading services-based company, who are currently recruiting due to on-going growth for a HR Officer (HR Operations Executive).

Reporting into the Head of HR and working as part of a team of 4 within HR, the role will be responsible for providing a generalist HR service to c180 employees. Key duties and responsibilities include;

• Providing HR support with all aspects of the employee lifecycle for 180 employees (70% split of role) and supporting the business with Recruitment and Engagement (30% split of role)
• Support all on-boarding services by preparing all new starter documentation and delivering all personnel induction sessions
• Maintain the HRIS system, ensuring all confidential employee records are up to date and accurate
• Develop, implement and maintain fair HR policies, ensuring the Employee Handbook is always up to date, and that policy implementation is consistent across the organisation
• Develop, implement and maintain HR processes i.e. Promotions, Flexible Benefits and Total Reward Statements
• Assisting with recruitment across the business and providing support to the Recruitment Director on recruitment procedures
• Managing the recruitment process from sourcing, shortlisting, interviews, feedback and offer stage
• Deliver effective salary and package benchmarking
• Support on all HR annual process, including performance reviews, salary reviews and bonus processes
• Support on Employee Relations cases, including performance management and disciplinary and/or grievance issues as they arise
• Administer requests from the business such as Shared Parental Leave, flexible working and Subject Access Requests
• Produce and maintain timely and accurate HR reporting to support the production of regular HR statistics and Board reports
• Deliver all off-boarding procedures
• Support the HR Director in project work as required

For this role candidate will need to hold CIPD level 3 and have proven HR experience working in a generalist HR role. It is essential that candidate can work independently, across multiple departments and as part of a busy HR team.

Candidate must display a strong knowledge of HR processes, HR information systems and UK employment law, in addition to holding strong communication and interpersonal skills.
