Commercial Claims Handler

I am currently working with a leading Broker based in Leeds city centre who are looking to expand their Claims Team in an already lively and vibrant office.

You will assist the Claims Manager in dealing with cross class business and will also play a key part in building relationships with key insurers and keeping claims files and financials accurate and up to date.

This is a fantastic opportunity for either an individual who is already dealing with Commercial Claims or someone with a background of Personal Lines Claims who is looking to take that step up in a new Commercial role.

Full training will be provided where required and as your experience grows so will your scope of responsibility. You will generally start handling Motor Trade/Fleet claims, moving onto Property, Liability/Casualty, Financial Lines and Contractors etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolving motor liability issues and contacting clients for notifications of incidents
• Liaising with over 90 insurers that currently work with the business
• Logging FNOL of claims and dealing with day to day claims queries from customers. This will involve meetings with customers where necessary to go through complex cases

Experience Required

• Basic knowledge of the insurance industry and claims
• Excellent customer service skills
• Previous use of Microsoft Office
