Job Information

We have exclusively partnered with a well-established and prestigious hospitality business, which are looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join the business.

The role will focus on providing generalist HR support, but with a strong focus on managing and supporting the business with ER, so they are looking for candidates who have proven ER case-load experience.

The role will report into the HR Director and will provide rounded HR support to c300 employees across 20-30 sites. This will include regular on-site meetings and involve working across multiple sites 3-4 days per week (all London based). Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Assist the HR director with providing a rounded HR service to c300 employees across multiple sites
• Managing a high volume of ER cases from low level to complex cases across disciplinary, grievances, misconduct, capability / performance, sickness / absence and disputes - c30-40 cases at any time
• Manage complex and escalated ER cases, from organising and leading meetings through to making recommendations and outcome letters etc.
• Providing consistent advice on ER and HR Policies to the business, providing support and guidance to managers
• Dealing with HR queries from employees - face to face and over the phone
• Managing the recruitment process including screening candidates, telephone interviews, referencing and new starter checks
• Assist with L&D and Training programmes
• Understand and promote Company Vision & Values, focusing on strong Customer Service
• Involvement with various HR projects

For this role candidates will need to have worked at a similar level and have proven ER experience in a high volume environment. Ideally candidates will be CIPD Qualified, although this is not essential.

Candidates will need to be comfortable with `hot desking` at the various on-site locations, as the HR function is not based at one specific site. This gives the HR team a visible and approachable presence within the business. They will also be regular meetings with the management and senior team. It is essential that you can work on your own initiative and be confident working in a busy and fast paced environment.

As you will be supporting and working closely with the HR Director, there is excellent opportunity to progress in this role and take on more responsibility. Catering, hospitality or restaurant experience would be an advantage, although an interest in good food is essential!
