We are working with a well-established not for profit organisation and they are recruiting for HR Systems Officer.

Reporting into the HR Projects Manager, the role will work as part of a team of 4. The main focus of the role will be to support the team by ensuring the HR / Payroll system is maintained, deal with any issues and support the improvement processors.

You will also be involved with various HR projects, including testing and roll out of a system implementation project across the business. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Provide functional support on systems and projects
• Take a lead role in the delivery of system upgrades
• Provide support testing on new systems and ensuring it meets the needs of the business
• Prepare MS Excel reports on various HR areas / triggers
• Manage the system / helpdesk inbox and ensure any issues are resolved ASAP
• Liaise with business stakeholders to understand their requirements/issues and feed into any process or systems changes.
• Maintain knowledge of financial/people policies and procedures as required.
• Be the first point of contact for report requests, producing reports as required
• Reviewing & challenging current processes and procedures for continuous improvement opportunities and support effective delivery.
• Ensure data and management information is managed in line with GDPR.
• Work on the reporting project to update the current reporting catalogue and create additional reports in line with business needs.
• Be involved in system testing in relation to change activities and system upgrades.

For this role candidates will need to hold strong HR and Systems experience and hold strong reporting experience (MS Excel - vlook ups and pivots).

Ideally candidates will have experience of running, creating, and editing reports and have system testing experience. In addition to strong system skills, excellent communication skills are needed.
