Junior Account Handler

Salary : £18-£20k
We are currently working with an Insurance Broker who is looking to add a Junior Commercial Account Handler to their well-established team in Wilmslow.

You won`t necessarily have experience in Commercial Insurance, but ideally will have spent at least 12 months in a general insurance role. This is a great opportunity for an individual that is looking to progress their career, earn industry qualifications and be part of a growing successful business.

You will work to support a team of Account Executives, to deliver an excellent level of service to new and existing customers. This will include managing the day to day client contact as you will service the existing client base while also providing quotations for new enquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Dealing with Commercial and Corporate clients
• Building and maintaining effective relationships
• Treat customers fairly at all times
• Handle and respond to product queries quickly and efficiently

Experience Required

• A minimum of 12 months experience in general insurance
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills with a good telephone manner
• A desire to develop their knowledge of all classes of Commercial Insurance
• A keen interest in long term career progression
