I`m actively recruiting for an IT company based in the City who are currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the team.

The newly created Assistant Accountant role will be responsible for supporting the Senior Finance members and will be focussed on financial reporting and variety of reconciliation duties.



Main Duties:

• Daily bank reconciliations
• Month end journal postings
• Full balance sheet reconciliations
• Production of management accounts packs
• Commentary on management accounts pack
• Credit Control
• Credit Card Reconciliation
• Sales forecasting
• VAT Returns
• Assisting Head of Finance with financial forecasting
• Any ad hoc duties as required by the wider team

Candidate Requirements:

• Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA
• Strong Excel skills
• Good numerical & analytical skills
• IT sector experience preferable but not essential



For this position, my client is offering a competitive salary of £30,000-£35,000 dependant on experience as well as multiple other benefits.
