Insurance Sales Team Leader

Manchester

Salary £30k DOE

In this position you will work in the sales department of an innovative and dynamic Insurer based in Manchester.

The successful candidate will be required to effectively lead and maximise the performance of an existing team and will have in excess of 10 direct reports. You will lead, motivate and inspire your team to achieve all set targets and KPI`s. You will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment, and although insurance experience would be advantageous it is not a requirement of the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate team and individual targets, monitoring and resolving performance issues to ensure all targets are met
• Motivate, coach and support a team day to day through various methods including daily meetings, one to one`s and coaching sessions
• Produce MI to identify trends and proactively work to find solutions to problems
• Work closely with wider areas of the business to support succession planning and ensure each member of the team has the required training

Experience Required

• Experience of working in a high volume contact centre environment leading direct reports, ideally in an insurance setting
• Excellent influencing and communication skills
• A track record of developing and motivating members of your team
• A positive “can do“ approach to problem solving and the ability to challenge the normal way of doing things to continue to move the business forward
