Job Information

We are assisting a growing not for profit organisation with the recruitment of a HR Assistant to join the business. This is an immediate need, so candidates will ideally be able to start ASAP or on short notice.

Working as part of a team of 4 within HR, the role will support the HR Business Partners with all day to day generalist areas of HR for c170 employees. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Dealing with a range of 1st line HR queries from employees
• HR administration and updating HR employee records
• Managing the on-boarding and off boarding process
• Assisting with recruitment : screening, shortlisting, recruitment tracking, attending interviews and taking references
• Checking and submitting payroll information to the accounts team : changes in contracts, holiday and sickness, salary changes etc
• Training and Development : sourcing training providers, organising and arranging for training, booking rooms, course feedback etc
• Support on day to day ER matters : note taking at sickness and absence meetings
• Providing ad-hoc HR support the business partners and HR Director

For this role candidates will ideally hold CIPD level 3 and have a good grounding within HR administration, working as a HR Assistant (or similar level).

Strong IT skills are essential and being confident working in a busy and fast paced HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for keen and enthusiastic HR professionals, as you will work as part of a small HR team and have exposure to all generalist HR areas.
