Our client is a main car dealership who is looking to recruit an experienced Accountant to join their current team.

For this position you must have previous experience working within a motor dealership

Dealership Accountant Role:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Prepare regular bank reports and forecasts
• Reconciliation, control and correction of key balance sheet accounts
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and year end accounts to a satisfactory level and in accordance with statutory and Company requirements.
• Monitor and correct vehicle sales P&L accounts
• Monitor and control Kerridge Autoline error reports
• Control of payroll and associated reporting
• Ensure high standards of administration and record keeping in compliance with Accounting practice and Company procedures.
• Ensure the prompt, smooth and methodical flow of work.

About You:

• To have experience as a management accountant within the motor trade
• To be part or fully AAT qualified, or Qualified by experience
• Kerridge ADP experience is strongly desired
• To be able to work efficiently to complete your own tasks
• To be able to complete larger projects, whilst managing your day-to-day workload
