Job Information

Working in partnership with a local Educational Trust we are excited to be recruiting for a Director who will be responsible for managing Performance and Accountability. You will contribute to the development of a Trust that is transforming the educational standards and character development of young people , focusing on leadership and accountability whilst driving high performance.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Trustees and Leadership Team to implement systems and processes that help to increase performance across all of the educational institutions within the Trust.

The role will include:

• Working with the Board of Directors, CEO, Local Governing Bodies, staff, to lead, develop and deliver academic excellence and raise performance standards.
• Work with executive and senior management teams at all levels to challenge, motivate and empower staff to attain ambitious outcomes
• Ensure the Trust has an efficient and effective operating structure in place that consistently promotes high standards of teaching and learning
• Encourage the sharing of skills, expertise and the building of capacity across the Trust
• Help ensure the Trust has robust policies, procedures and systems in place for the collection, analysis and utilisation of education performance data across all levels.
• Help develop and lead relevant systems for self-evaluation and school improvement

The successful candidate will:

• Report directly to the Trustees but work closely with the CEO
• Help ensure that systems and reporting structures are in place to be able to effectively govern the strategic and operational educational risks.
• Operate in compliance with the Boards Scheme of Delegation
• Reflect the values of the Trust in own behaviours when working with external partners, parents, the community and the media.



In return you will receive a salary of £62,000 per annum, plus the opportunity to join a talented, dynamic team, an excellent CPD programme and a very supportive Board of Trustees.
